This is a cute idea: coffee mugs with color swatches on the inside so you can match the amount of cream in your coffee (or tea) to the “right” shade.
Or, if you’re a bit more anally-retentive (or are a professional designer…which is saying about the same thing), you might prefer to match your coffee to the EXACT Pantone-specified color.
This is not exactly a new idea, I guess. Here’s someone describing almost the exact same thing at Halfbakery.com back in 2003. Makes you wonder how many other decent ideas are still floating around over there, just waiting for someone to do something.
