Charlotte will be thrilled to hear that an advance team is actively scouting locations in Boston and Lexington to shoot an upcoming film about the ride of Paul Revere. (via this blog, by way of Universal Hub)
This isn’t the first time they’ve been in the area to work on this film. This same time last year, they shot scenes for the film at Old Sturbridge Village in Western Massachusetts (here are some pictures we took at Old Sturbridge Village right around that same time). That footage was used for a 10-minute version of the story which was screened at the Boston Film Festival last fall.
In fact, as I think about it, I wonder if the BBJ has screwed up on this story…seems like they’ve gotten their dates wrong and have mistaken last year’s stories for this year’s. It’s possible that the filmmakers have scored some serious financing and are going to turn their short educational film into a full-length motion picture, but all I can Google up are references to the 10-minute short and that one BBJ story. Hmmmmm….

Since you cannot click [...]
Please, please, PUH-LEEZE stop talking about “What do we call the last decade?” Nobody could come up with an acceptable choice ten years ago, and nobody’s going to come up with one now. “Aughties” and “Naughties” are contrived and stupid, and so is the very idea that anything wraps up all nice and neatly into [...]
