The overall impression I got was that, even though Portsmouth is more vital (i.e. not solely reliant on tourism) than other coastal New England towns, they really do try to latch on to any bit of notoriety as a way of getting people&#039;s attention.</description>

		<description>Husband and I visited John Paul Jones&#039; house in Scotland, found accidentally on a wander into Scotland on our recent trip. (Arbingland is the place, outside Dumfries)
And fried pickles always remind me of Heather from CSCA.  She and her partner did their Food Management project on a place called fried pickles and it was the first time I had ever heard of a fried pickle.  I keep hoping to bump into them somewhere since I adore anything pickled!</description>
