I was a night-owl as a little kid, so I didn’t have to be roused from bed; I remember watching the tiny little B&W TV my parents had in their bedroom, waiting and waiting and waiting for something to happen. Then finally, Armstrong bounced down the steps and said his line.

I was going to post about Apollo 11 yesterday, but didn’t. I still remember my dad getting me up to watch Neil Armstrong step on the face of the moon. Though I was still not quite six years old, I remember it clearly. It wasn’t until years later, though, that I found out how interested my dad was in NASA and the space program.

Yay Moon Day! My own reaction to the Apollo 11 space capsule was awe and reverance. It was like a holy thing to me. I loves me the space program!

Yeah, but what about Williamsburg? I love Williamsburg. I went there on a college field trip and again a few years ago. That place is so cool. Especially because there aren’t any crummy-looking signs all over, making it look like some goofy tourist attraction.
