A New Feature

twoshits-md

I’m going to try to add a little running list over on the sidebar entitled “Things I Do Not Give Two Shits About” just to keep us all up to date on the overhyped, overblown, overexposed, and overripe crap that pervades our lives. But for the moment, I’ll make do with listing a few of them right here:

  • Swine Flu panic-mongering
  • Jon and Kate Gosselin
  • David Letterman’s sex life
  • Glenn Beck
  • blaming Obama for the failed Chicago Olympic bid
  • the vampire craze
  • Sarah Palin’s memoir

Suggestions for additional inclusions welcome.

    Totally – I agree.

Oh, here’s one I forgot to include yesterday: Levi Johnston

I was just going to suggest levi.
Also the zombie craze that will not die.
Also… who’s famous at the moment?

  4. Brian says:

Oh, yes, zombies, for sure. And anything that has had bacon added to it.

I vote for Jon and Kate Gosselin. I am SO sick of hearing about those losers even from legitimate news outlets, because I SO don’t care.

  6. Tony says:

This is a list I can agree with almost completely, but I have to draw the line at bacon. I also couldn’t care less about the entire genre of “reality” television, but that’s just me.

  7. Brian says:

Well, I’m not opposed to bacon per se, it’s the played-out meme of “bacon on everything” that has caused me to lose interest.

Love the list. Please add celebrity couples in general, and most particularly couples who are referenced with a single combined name, like Brangelina or Speidi. This referencing presumes that we even know who is being talked about, which I don’t, or that we give even one shit, much less two.

Also, I wish I understood the zombie craze. Sort of.
