When we moved into 'the house' in Chelmsford when I was 6 oh say around 1971 the ENTIRE kitchen was turquoise. In fact the fridge was hung on the wall like cabinets and the oven matched and the hot water heater was this enormous 'thing' with a turquoise cover in the corner of the room that all the cats used to sleep on.
