   Thanks for sharing this, Brian. I think all of us can use a dose of perspective from time to time. For those of us fortunate enough to wake up in America this morning, odds are good that we’re leading a charmed existence when compared to most of the rest of the world.

   I reminded myself of this sort of thing a lot back when I was poor. Now that I’m not, I really feel fortunate.
