Senator Larry “Wide Stance” Craig of Idaho and Senator David “Hos Before Bros” Vitter of Louisiana are co-sponsoring this year’s version of the “Marriage Protection Amendment”.
The official Democratic response was a big snort, followed by giggles and knee-slapping.

You probably read yesterday that Toe-Tappin’ Larry Craig has decided to stay in the Senate even though the judge in Minneapolis has denied his request to take back his guilty plea. I wonder if he’ll be invited to speak at the convention next year. He already seems to know his way around the Minneapolis airport pretty well.
Good Ol’ Toe-Tappin’ Larry Craig has decided he’s not retiring from the Senate after all, at least until a judge rules on his request to reverse his guilty plea on the charge of soliciting gay sex from a police officer in an airport bathroom. And to celebrate, he was one of 39 senators to vote against the “Matthew Shepard Act”, which expands the definition of a federal hate crime to include violentacts against gays, people with disabilities, and others.
Seems to me that Larry really needs a little refresher course on the actual meaning of “love your fellow man”.
Say what you will about Larry “Wide Stance” Craig, but at least he’s not out on the ocean sodomizing manta rays! (via)
